Description
The USDA Forest Service is soliciting offers for the Mavreeso Integrated Resource Service Contract (IRSC) on the San Juan National Forest, Dolores Ranger District, in Colorado. The project involves the removal of live and dead aspen trees through a coppice cut to improve forest ecosystem resilience and provide timber products, along with mandatory road reconstruction work. The contract includes mandatory work items for cutting and removing timber on 259 acres (Units 1-13) and road reconstruction on specified forest roads, with optional work for an additional 169 acres (Units 14-16). The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, and supervision. The period of performance for mandatory items is through December 31, 2030, and for optional items through August 1, 2031. This procurement is restricted to approved companies under the R2 Rocky Mountain Restoration Project (RMRP) Stewardship BPA.
