Description
The Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for the purchase and installation of 26 new DSX access-controlled badge readers on secure interior vault doors in Building 20129 at Kirtland Air Force Base. The scope also includes control cabinets, power supplies, high-durability locking hardware, professional programming, electrical certifications, and all required labor and materials. The facility uses a proprietary DSX access control system managed through DSX SQL server software. The notice identifies Industrial & Commercial Security Systems, Inc. as the authorized installer with the required administrative configurations, wiring schematics, and secure database credentials; third-party hardware or alternative technicians are stated to be unacceptable because they could void warranties, prevent system integration, and create security vulnerabilities.
