Description
The U.S. Air Force, through the 377 MSG/PK at Kirtland Air Force Base, is soliciting proposals for a design/build construction project to renovate secure facility B1049. The primary objective is to construct a new enclosed storage space measuring 25 feet by 25 feet, featuring a mezzanine above. The contractor must remove the existing Space Saver storage system in its entirety, install a metal staircase for access to the mezzanine, and install four opaque skylights. The project also involves modifying and relocating utilities as necessary, performing field verifications, and supplying all labor, tools, equipment, permits, and licenses. The work must be performed in compliance with the Statement of Work and all applicable codes and standards. The project is set aside for small businesses and has a performance period of 427 days from contract award.
