Description
The City of Farmington, New Mexico, is requesting proposals from qualified developers, organizations, and private entities for a public-private partnership to redevelop a premier City-owned property at 107 W. Maple St. The 3.2-acre site is zoned Mixed Use and is located within the Animas District of the Farmington Metropolitan Redevelopment Area. The City seeks a partner capable of delivering a development that supports local economic revitalization and quality-of-life goals. The project includes a two-phase approach. Phase 1 involves site feasibility analysis, housing scenarios, concept refinement, and development of a civil engineering strategy for the FEMA AE flood plain. Phase 2 involves negotiating a Disposition and Development Agreement or Master Development Agreement covering land transfer, construction, and long-term property management. Proposals will be evaluated based on developer experience and track record, development vision, site feasibility and flood plain approach, and financial capacity and capital framework. Conceptual site sketches, layouts, and visual renderings or elevations are required as graphical attachments.
