Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting quotes for the purchase, delivery, and installation of eight new, heavy-duty commercial workstations in five configurations: three 96-by-36-inch manual workstations with black phenolic resin surfaces; one 72-by-36-inch mobile workstation with a natural maple butcher-block surface; two 96-by-36-inch slotted workstations with shelving; two 36-by-36-inch mobile workstations; and three additional 72-by-36-inch mobile workstations with maple surfaces. The workstations must include the specified drawers, shelves, monitor arms, laptop holders, risers, footrests, uprights, glides, or locking casters, as applicable, and must be delivered new and suitable for high-volume military use. This is a brand-name-or-equal requirement based on BOSTONtec products. Equal products must meet the stated salient characteristics, including a cantilevered frame supporting at least 1,200 pounds, exact dimensional footprints, chemical-resistant phenolic resin and maple surfaces, Clementine Orange or Vibrant Green powder-coated finishes, and modular mounting provisions. The contractor must provide product literature for proposed equals, a completed quote sheet, technical documentation, and an installation plan or access approach for installation at the base. Delivery is required within 60 days after the contract date.
