The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Shiprock Service Unit, intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed-price award with Nihon Kohden America, LLC for performance care and repair services for the existing Nihon Kohden patient monitoring system installed at the facility. The procurement is classified under NAICS 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, and is being pursued under 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). This is a notice of intent rather than a solicitation or request for offers. Vendors capable of providing the services may submit a written capability statement; verbal responses will not be considered. The proposed period of performance consists of a 12-month base period plus two 12-month option periods, each beginning from the date of award. No solicitation is expected to be issued unless the Government determines that competition is appropriate.
