Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking bids for a master agreement covering hood and duct inspection, preventative maintenance cleaning, deep cleaning, and emergency cleaning services at participating institutions and facilities statewide. Services include cleaning the entire exhaust system from the plenum through the ductwork to roof-mounted fans and housings, along with associated hoods, baffles, filters, grills, ovens, and other appurtenances. Work must comply with NFPA 96 and applicable federal, state, and local requirements, and must include required labels, service reports, cleanup, equipment, labor, transportation, materials, permits, and related expenses. Emergency services must be supported by a four-hour response capability. Bidders may bid on one or more locations or groups, and quantities and service frequencies are estimates. Subcontractors are permitted with prior approval. The agreement is anticipated to begin upon approval and end May 31, 2028; services are generally performed Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., subject to location-specific coordination.
