Description
Boulder County Parks & Open Space is soliciting proposals to lease approximately 69.3 acres of flood-irrigated pasture and hay ground for agricultural production. The property has associated irrigation water rights, perimeter and internal fencing, and no structures. The solicitation describes prior hay production and livestock grazing and notes drainage issues in the southeastern corner. The lease term is three years, with annual cash rent of $4,000. Proposals are evaluated on sustainability and soil and water stewardship, suitability of the proposed operation, agricultural experience, equipment access, and financial viability. Responders must provide an operational plan, describe relevant experience and equipment, and complete the provided enterprise budget. A mandatory pre-proposal information meeting and site visit are required.
