Description
The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center is soliciting bids to rent approximately 47 acres of farmland for the 2027–2032 crop years, a term covering six crop seasons. The tenant must use the land for farming, maintain it in good condition, manage weeds and crops, and develop and follow an approved soil conservation plan in coordination with the Lancaster County Soil Conservation District. Corn stover must remain on the field unless a fall-seeded cover crop is planted to replace lost organic matter. The bid must state a lump-sum annual rent, not a per-acre price. The successful bidder must execute the provided Field Rental Agreement and follow its payment schedule and other terms.
