Description
Boulder County Parks & Open Space is seeking a tenant to lease approximately 197.1 acres for agricultural production. The property includes approximately 99.8 dryland acres and 97.3 flood-irrigated acres, with specified water rights available for irrigation. The land has previously supported flood-irrigated and dryland commodity crops; it was not irrigated in 2026, and weed chemical management was the only management conducted that year. The property has no perimeter fencing and is not currently suitable for livestock, and no structures are included. Proposals must describe the proposed agricultural operation and its soil-health, water-use, conservation, sustainability, and education practices; the proposer’s relevant experience and equipment access; and a completed enterprise budget. Proposals are evaluated on sustainability, suitability for the property, agricultural experience, equipment, and financial viability. The stated cash rent is $10,000 per year, and the lease term is three years. The selected proposer must meet the lease’s insurance requirements before beginning activity on the property.
