Description
The City seeks a contractor to furnish and install traffic signal materials and equipment, and to perform related installation, removal, replacement, repair, and maintenance work. The scope includes signal poles and mast arms, signal and pedestrian heads and push buttons, conduit, wiring, foundations, pull boxes, vehicle-detection equipment, pedestrian beacons, radar speed displays, and associated street-lighting equipment. The attached bid schedule lists unit-price items, and the specifications describe work at various locations in the City. Some equipment and materials are furnished by the City; the contractor supplies other materials as specified. Bidders must submit a completed pricing spreadsheet and the specified bid forms and supporting materials. The award is based on the lowest bid from a responsible and qualified bidder. The solicitation states an initial one-year award period with four additional years at the discretion of both parties.
