Description
Val Verde Unified School District is requesting statements of qualifications from architectural firms for placement in a pool of qualified architects. Selected firms may receive future project-specific solicitations for as-needed professional services covering pre-design, programming, schematic and design development, construction documents, bidding assistance, construction administration, and project closeout. Potential work includes small renovations, energy-efficiency projects, modernization, new construction, and capital facility projects. Firms must hold the required California architectural or engineering licenses, maintain at least one staffed office within 75 miles of the District's administrative office, and be insured. Submissions must address firm qualifications, financial resources, insurance capability, personnel, subconsultants, relevant K-14 projects, public-school and regulatory experience, approach to services, pricing, billing practices, and past claims or litigation. The District intends to select multiple firms for a five-year architect pool and does not guarantee any subsequent project or contract.
