Description
The City of Tracy is soliciting bids for construction of a temporary transit bus parking and storage yard at 6649 S. Tracy Boulevard. The work includes site preparation and grading; construction of a vegetated swale for stormwater treatment; installation and striping of bus parking stalls; installation of solar-powered parking lot lighting; and placement of a shipping container for storage and operational needs. Bidders must hold a valid California Class A General Engineering Contractor's License and submit proof of Department of Industrial Relations registration and a completed subcontractor list with the bid proposal. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the maximum contract price, plus a warranty bond equal to 10% of the maximum contract price. The contract duration is 60 calendar days beginning upon issuance of the formal Notice to Proceed, with completion anticipated in early spring due to weather-dependent grading activities.
