Description
The City of East Prairie is soliciting bids for complete demolition and lawful disposal at 615 North Martin Street, including the principal and accessory structures, footings, foundations, porches, storm cellars, concrete slabs, house contents, junk, trash, brush, stumps, and City-identified white PVC fencing. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, disposal, site filling, compaction, grading, and drainage work. Demolition debris may not be burned or buried at the property or within East Prairie, and disposal must comply with applicable Missouri requirements; approved landfill or transfer-station tickets must be submitted with invoices. The successful bidder must coordinate utility locating and disconnection, provide the required Missouri One Call ticket before work begins, and complete all work within 30 days after the City's notice to proceed. Bidders must be licensed as general contractors with the City of East Prairie. A certificate of insurance is required before award, including liability coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate, with the City named as an additional insured, plus statutory workers' compensation coverage.
