Description
The City of Houston, through the Houston Health Department, is soliciting three new, unused wheelchair-accessible digital roll-on platform scales for professional clinical and healthcare use. Each scale must accommodate wheelchair entry without patient transfer, include an integrated or attached ramp, provide a slip-resistant platform, raised edge protection, a stable handrail, and a digital display. Minimum specifications include a platform width of 32–36 inches, platform depth of at least 40 inches, and a weight capacity of 1,000 pounds or greater. The proposed equipment must be a current production model, durable and free from defects, supplied with all components needed for normal operation, and covered by the manufacturer's standard commercial warranty. Bidders must identify the manufacturer, brand, model, dimensions, capacity, accuracy/readability, warranty, unit price, delivery lead time, and any deviations, and must submit manufacturer literature or equivalent technical documentation. Pricing must include freight, shipping, handling, and delivery charges.
