Description
The Canadian Forces Housing Agency, within the Department of National Defence, is seeking a contractor to provide waste collection services for residential housing units at Housing Services Centre Yellowknife. The scope includes supplying all required labour, materials, transportation equipment, and supervision; removing wet and dry garbage, foliage, and food by-products; and collecting waste from exterior front-loading containers ranging from 4 to 6 cubic yards at three listed collection locations. Collection is scheduled twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, during a 24-month initial contract period. Services must be performed on-site during core operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and must comply with applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations. The solicitation includes a conditional set-aside for Indigenous businesses, subject to the stated certification and participation conditions, and permits two additional one-year option periods.
