Description
The City of Sunnyside is soliciting proposals for projects supported by lodging tax revenue collected from hotels and motels within the city. Eligible activities include tourism advertising and information distribution, tourism expansion strategies, operation of tourism promotion agencies, construction of tourism-related facilities, and marketing or operation of events and festivals that attract tourists. Applicants must submit a separate proposal for each project, identify the requested and minimum acceptable funding levels, and explain any reduced scope associated with a lower award. The application package includes the project proposal and budget forms, a statement of qualifications, references, organizational and financial documentation, applicable insurance and business-license documentation, and a signed proposal certification. Funding is available from January 1 through December 31, 2027, on a reimbursement basis, with reporting requirements for tourism impacts and project finances.
