Description
The City of Yakima is seeking a contractor to provide car wash services for municipal vehicles used by the Police, Fire, Water/Irrigation, and Airport departments. Services include exterior automatic washes, self-service wash bays, and additional wash options, with estimated quantities for both non-24-hour and 24-hour access schedules. Standard service must be available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; the Police Department requires 24-hour access, and other departments may require service outside standard hours. The contractor must support vehicle tracking and authorized-user controls, provide detailed monthly transaction reporting and invoices, submit Excel billing data, and accept responsibility for damage caused by car wash equipment. The contract term is one year with up to three additional one-year extensions. Required response materials include a signed cover sheet/signature page, technical specification analysis, quote form with applicable price sheets, and bidder questionnaire.
