Description
Ocean County is seeking organizations to provide structured, relationship-based youth mentoring and positive youth development services for at-risk youth and youth involved in or at risk of deeper involvement in the juvenile justice system, including youth on probation. Services may support diversion, disposition, detention alternatives, reentry, community reintegration, and transition to adulthood. The program must provide intentional mentor matching, sustained supportive relationships, youth and family engagement, goal and skill development, service connections, and coordination with courts, probation, schools, behavioral health providers, families, and community partners. Applicants must demonstrate at least two years of experience providing comparable services to Ocean County youth and families, use appropriately licensed professionals, meet New Jersey licensing requirements, and maintain screening, background checks, training, supervision, safety, documentation, reporting, and performance-management processes. Proposals must include the required organizational, technical, fiscal, certification, and compliance materials, including a project narrative and detailed fee-for-service cost proposal. Available funding is $119,000, with services billed monthly at proposed fee-for-service rates; contracts may be renewed annually for a total period not exceeding five years.
