Description
Kittitas Reclamation District is soliciting sealed bids for construction improvements along the South Branch Canal, including replacement of an open-channel canal with approximately 2,700 feet of large-diameter pipeline, roadway improvements, drainage, earthwork, and related work. The project covers the reach from Milepost 13.6 to the Manastash Siphon and is intended to improve water conservation and operational performance of the district's system. Bidders must submit sealed bids by the stated deadline and attend the mandatory pre-bid conference or independently schedule a site visit before submitting a bid. The anticipated award and notice to proceed are intended to allow construction during the annual canal outage between fall 2026 and spring 2027. Estimated total bonding capacity for the project is $2.2 million to $2.8 million.
