Description
Selah School District 119 is seeking bids for two firewall solutions and related components, necessary software, and licenses. The proposed solution should provide 10 GB throughput with scalability to 40 GB, support SSL VPN access for up to 100 or more users, and allow future add-on cybersecurity threat detection and blocking capabilities. Quantum Force 3970 and WatchGuard M4800, or equivalent solutions, are identified as examples. The scope includes internal connections, installation and initial configuration, and basic maintenance of firewall services and components. Proposals may be evaluated based primarily on the cost of eligible services, along with compliance, scalability, support for add-on features, ease of management and integration, vendor experience and support, security vulnerabilities, patching responsiveness, and third-party efficacy benchmarks.
