Description
The City of Yakima is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the N. 16th Avenue Sidewalk project, which includes a new sidewalk and shared-use pathway. Approximate major quantities include 310 tons of hot-mix asphalt, 540 square yards of concrete sidewalk, 650 linear feet of curb and gutter, commercial approaches, curb inlets, an illumination system, pavement markings, and associated work. The contractor must complete the work within 25 working days. Bids must be submitted on the form bound in the specifications and accompanied by a bond or certified check payable to the City of Yakima Treasurer in an amount of at least 5% of the bid. The project is federally funded through the Federal Highway Administration's Carbon Reduction Program and is subject to applicable federal requirements, prevailing wage requirements, and disadvantaged-business-enterprise provisions.
