Description
The City of Erlanger is seeking a qualified, licensed, and insured roofing contractor to completely replace the shingle roof system at the Public Safety Center East firehouse. The base scope includes removal and disposal of existing roofing, deck inspection, underlayment and leak barriers, flashing and edge metal, ventilation, 25-year dimensional shingles, site protection and cleanup, and required manufacturer and workmanship warranties. Damaged decking will be priced under a time-and-materials unit rate. Bidders must provide separate pricing for two add alternates: approximately 370 linear feet of custom aluminum fascia wrap and approximately 505 linear feet of six-inch seamless aluminum gutters with oversized downspouts. The submission must include the completed bid form, pricing schedule, valid contractor license, certificate of insurance, bid bond or cashier’s check, current W-9, and City occupational license. A performance and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract amount is required after award. The project must be completed within 30 days of commencement and no later than June 30, 2027.
