Description
San Mateo County is seeking a contractor to provide kitchen exhaust cleaning and maintenance services for San Mateo Medical Center, including its acute-care hospital, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities. The scope includes degreasing exhaust systems, ducts, and hoods; commercial kitchen filter sales, exchanges, and regular cleaning; kitchen exhaust fan belt replacement and servicing; required regulatory documentation; and 24/7/365 same-day and urgent cleaning support. The agreement term is five years. Proposals must include a technical proposal and a separate fee proposal, with information addressing the firm's qualifications, similar projects, references, project approach, schedule, performance measures, team qualifications, and applicable insurance coverage. Electronic submissions must be made through the County's eProcurement portal, and each filename must include the proposer name and RFP title and number. The solicitation also provides for local-business and local-nonprofit evaluation preferences, where applicable.
