Description
Southwest Independent School District is seeking qualified and state-licensed occupational therapists, certified occupational therapy assistants, and occupational therapy assistants to provide as-needed occupational therapy services to students with disabilities. The scope includes direct and consultative therapy, evaluations and eligibility assessments, development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans, participation in multidisciplinary Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee meetings, treatment planning, documentation, reporting, staff and parent consultations, adaptive-equipment support, and compliance with applicable district and federal timelines. Providers must be able to work 16 to 40 hours per week, provide their own transportation for daily district-wide travel, maintain required licenses and certifications, and complete background checks before beginning work. The District anticipates multiple awards with primary and secondary vendors for as-needed services and may permit other Central Texas Purchasing Alliance member districts to adopt the resulting contract. The contract period runs from September 1, 2025, or the award date, through May 31, 2030, with annual price increases limited to 3 percent. Proposers must submit required qualifications, client references, service descriptions, pricing, licenses, resumes and education records, sample invoices and service documentation, insurance evidence, litigation or notarized no-litigation documentation, and required certifications through the electronic bidding system.
