Greenville City School District is seeking bids for Category 2 internal-connection equipment, including Ruckus or equivalent network switches, SFP+ 10GbE transceiver modules, fiber patch cables, and CAT 6 550 MHz plenum-rated cable. The listed service requests include 31 switches and necessary software or licenses, 60 antennas/connectors and related components, 3,000 feet of cabling, and 420 feet of cabling, along with three 1,000-foot boxes of CAT 6 cable. All equipment must be new and include a three-year manufacturer warranty. Equivalent products must be supported by documentation demonstrating compatibility with the existing network. Any required operating license should be for five years and exclude support or management components. Bids must identify the manufacturer, manufacturer part number or SKU, unit cost, and the percentage eligible under E-Rate rules. Bidders must provide a SPIN or documentation that a SPIN application has been submitted, and documentation showing authorized-reseller status for the proposed equipment.
