Description
Newton County Board of Commissioners is soliciting veterinary services for Newton County Animal Services. The selected veterinary team must include at least one skilled veterinarian licensed in Georgia and may include up to three veterinary assistants. Services include weekly sterilization procedures, pre-surgical examinations, anesthesia induction and monitoring, at least 25 spay/neuter surgeries in a single day, and additional shelter-animal procedures such as cyst removal, enucleation, and amputation when safely feasible and pre-approved. The contractor must supply controlled surgical drugs, transport and document controlled-drug inventories, coordinate weekly surgery schedules, use the shelter's ShelterBuddy system, maintain medical records, and provide necessary data-entry and medical-log forms. The contract is for one year with up to four one-year renewal options. Proposals are evaluated on veterinary-practice experience and reputation, assigned personnel qualifications, and price. Required proposal materials include a technical proposal, separately uploaded pricing proposal, proposal certification, non-collusion affidavit, business and professional licenses, insurance certificate, immigration and security forms, employment-eligibility affidavit, debarment certification, and applicable addenda.
