Description
Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive sealed bids for on-call electrical repair, preventative maintenance, and installation services for multiple County departments and facilities. The scope includes time-and-material service calls, emergency response, electrical system repairs and installations, and scheduled preventative maintenance for switchgear, breakers, automatic transfer switches, panels, transformers, grounding and lightning-protection systems, lighting controls, and related electrical distribution equipment. Services may involve low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems, with Part Two specifically covering Department of Water Resources facilities. The contractor must hold a current Georgia Class II unrestricted electrical contractor license, designate a Master Electrician of record, maintain qualified licensed personnel and at least ten fully stocked service vehicles, provide 24/7 emergency availability, and meet specified response times. The bid requires completion of the County bid schedule and submission of references, subcontractor information, a Code of Ethics affidavit, Contractor Affidavit and Agreement, and copies of applicable licenses. The contract includes an initial annual term and four additional 12-month renewal options; the County may award by part or in its entirety.
