Description
The California Exposition & State Fair is soliciting a contractor to provide and operate industry-standard professional sound systems on a rental basis for five livestock and exhibit venues. The scope includes speakers, mixers, microphones, wireless microphone systems, playback interfaces, cabling, rigging, power distribution, transportation, installation, load-in, load-out, operation, maintenance, technical staffing, sound checks, and prompt correction of malfunctions. The contractor must provide trained personnel, including a qualified technician on-site each morning during the first seven days of the fair, and must supply all equipment needed for the work. Sound systems must meet detailed coverage, performance, safety, and environmental requirements. Subcontracting is prohibited. The agreement covers the 2027, 2028, and 2029 State Fair periods, with bids submitted for all services and priced by system and year.
