Description
The City of Oxnard is soliciting bids for as-needed operator-assisted crane and heavy equipment rental services. The contractor must provide cranes, flatbed trucks, hot shot and heavy-duty pickup vehicles, related machinery, transportation, setup, demobilization, certified crane operators, qualified drivers, and additional rigging personnel as requested. Services will support lifting, material handling, heavy-material transport, expedited deliveries, and urgent municipal projects through individual task orders. The contract requires compliance with applicable safety standards, CAL OSHA and Department of Transportation requirements, lift plans when required, equipment inspections, risk assessments, prevailing-wage and DIR-registration requirements, and applicable licensing and certifications. The anticipated base term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with up to two additional one-year option periods. Bidders must submit the required City forms, pricing schedule, three client references for work performed within the past five years, applicable Department of Transportation and motor-carrier permits, and DIR registration information.
