Description
Cranberry Township is soliciting bids for the Route 19 Waterline Replacement Project. The base bid requires all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, excavation, installation, testing, disinfection, and restoration necessary to install approximately 2,200 linear feet of 12-inch PVC C-900 DR-14 waterline, approximately 2,300 linear feet of 8-inch PVC C-900 DR-14 waterline, and approximately 20 linear feet of 6-inch waterline along Route 19 and Brandt Drive. The work also includes service connections, valves, tees, reducers, fire hydrants, waterline testing, traffic control, erosion and sedimentation controls, exploratory excavation, backfill, pavement and sidewalk replacement, curb and ADA ramp replacement, pavement-marking restoration, seeding, spoil hauling, and as-built surveying. An alternate bid covers additional waterline work along Smith Drive and Wisconsin Avenue. The project is funded in part through EPA grant monies and is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements, American Iron and Steel and Build America, Buy America requirements, and other federal cross-cutting requirements. Bidders must submit the Township's bid forms and supporting documentation, including bid security, a non-collusion affidavit, experience information, Pennsylvania steel-products compliance certification, and the Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification Form. The awarded contractor must provide 100 percent performance and payment bonds, insurance, and complete the project by August 1, 2027.
