Description
The California Department of Motor Vehicles is soliciting bids from businesses certified by the California Department of General Services as Certified Small Businesses to provide after-hours janitorial services at the Hemet DMV Field Office. The 36-month contract covers cleaning and disinfection of approximately 8,878 square feet, including high-touch surfaces, restrooms, offices, public areas, floors, carpets, entrances, and special maintenance areas. Services include daily, weekly, biweekly, quarterly, semiannual, annual, and as-needed tasks, with work generally performed Monday through Friday after business hours. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, specified equipment, personal protective equipment, and certain cleaning supplies, while the DMV will provide numerous cleaning products and janitorial supplies. The contractor must comply with California wage and benefit requirements, janitorial-worker registration requirements, security procedures, worker identification requirements, and applicable insurance requirements. The estimated three-year budget is $140,360. Bids must include the required bid documents and be submitted as one non-fillable PDF by email; the solicitation requires original signatures on documents requiring signatures.
