Description
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, through its Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities, is soliciting a vendor for recurring janitorial services at a 9,390-square-foot office. Services are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday after 5:00 p.m. and Saturday or Sunday between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. The vendor must provide labor, commercial-quality equipment, cleaning products, consumable supplies, trash liners, paper products, hand soap, air fresheners, and EPA-registered disinfectants. The scope includes routine cleaning and periodic tasks such as stripping, rewaxing, and buffing tile and linoleum floors; carpet shampooing; washing Venetian blinds; and washing restroom walls and partitions. A mandatory site visit is required, and electronic bids must be submitted through the State's Sourcing Tool. The contract has an initial one-year term with up to two additional one-year renewal terms.
