Description
Global Affairs Canada is seeking a qualified commercial cleaning provider for daily cleaning of a 589-square-meter consular office. The scope includes routine cleaning of floors, carpets, furniture, glass, workstations, meeting rooms, kitchenettes, washrooms, storage areas, and high-touch surfaces; disinfection; waste and recycling removal; replenishment of specified supplies; basic tasks such as shredding documents and watering plants; and maintenance of a daily cleaning logbook. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, training, uniforms, personal protective equipment as needed, transportation, cleaning products, tools, and equipment, while the Consulate supplies washroom consumables and certain facilities. The requirement also includes periodic and as-requested services such as deep cleaning and treatment of surfaces and floors, carpet cleaning, and deep cleaning of the official kitchen. These services require written pre-approval and may involve specialized equipment, additional personnel, or specialized training. The contractor must assign one primary cleaner and two backup employees for regular services, comply with site security and access restrictions, and maintain a stable workforce. Offers must demonstrate at least five years of relevant commercial cleaning experience within the last eight years, including at least one comparable project lasting 12 consecutive months and covering at least 500 square meters. Award will be based on the lowest evaluated price among offers meeting the mandatory technical criteria.
