Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service requires recurring janitorial services for two buildings at the Central Great Plains Research Station. The solicitation is a combined synopsis/solicitation and requests quotations under FAR Part 12; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The scope includes recurring cleaning of offices, laboratories, restrooms, conference areas, floors, carpets, windows, furniture, fixtures, and related spaces. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, and cleaning supplies not identified as government-furnished, and must use biobased products to the maximum extent practicable. The acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 561720. The contractor must submit pricing, a technical approach and quality-control information, proposed biobased products, key-personnel resumes, staffing documentation or contingent letters, and relevant past-performance information. The anticipated contract has a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, for a maximum five-year duration. Services are to be performed at the research station, with security, safety, background-check, and facility-access requirements.
