Description
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, through the Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities, is soliciting one vendor for recurring janitorial services at a 2,982-square-foot, one-story office. Services are scheduled Monday through Friday after 5:00 p.m. and include trash removal, kitchen and restroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, floor care, glass cleaning, blind dusting, disinfecting, and replenishment of restroom supplies. The vendor must furnish labor, commercial-quality equipment, cleaning chemicals, heavy-duty trash liners, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, deodorizers, and other consumables. Disinfectants must be EPA-registered products effective against specified bloodborne pathogens; bleach and pine-oil products are prohibited. The contract has an initial one-year term with up to two additional one-year renewals. A mandatory site visit is required, and bids must be submitted through the Ariba Sourcing Tool. The State intends to award based primarily on past performance and total cost.
