Description
The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services is soliciting a California-certified Small Business to provide janitorial services at its Public Safety Communications facility. The approximately 38,827-square-foot site includes office space, warehouse space, and an employee fitness trailer. Services include daily cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms, floors, breakrooms, high-touch surfaces, entrances, and other facility areas; trash removal; replenishment of restroom and breakroom supplies; monthly high dusting, window washing, detailed vacuuming, and floor cleaning; and semiannual carpet extraction and VCT/vinyl floor stripping, waxing, and buffing. Anti-static wax is required in specified technology areas. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supplies, backup personnel, and environmentally preferable cleaning practices. The agreement term is November 1, 2026, or upon Department of General Services approval, whichever is later, through October 31, 2029. The contractor must have at least three years of corporate or industrial janitorial experience, maintain specified insurance, provide a bond protecting against employee theft or property damage, and perform the work without subcontracting. The response requires the completed Exhibit B-1 cost sheet by the stated deadline; several additional certifications and insurance documents are identified as post-award or contract-related requirements.
