Description
The City of Santa Rosa is soliciting sealed paper bids for construction improvements to the Bennett Valley Golf Course irrigation system. The work includes replacing pumping equipment in two existing wells; installing submersible pumps, motors, discharge heads, well casing extensions, piping, valves, instrumentation, and controls; constructing a hydropneumatic bladder tank, flow-meter vault, and hydraulic-control-valve vault; installing a new 12-inch PVC irrigation main and tying into the existing irrigation main; and completing associated earthwork, erosion control, electrical service, motor controls, PLC/OI programming, testing, startup, and restoration. The project requires a California Class A contractor's license, California Department of Industrial Relations public-works registration, and a C-57 Water Well Contractor License for well work. A mandatory on-site bidders' conference is scheduled for October 20, 2026. The bid must include a completed Bid Proposal, Bid Schedule, Subcontractor List, Noncollusion Declaration, and 10% bid security. The successful bidder must provide 100% payment and performance bonds and required insurance after award. Final completion is required within 130 working days from the Notice to Proceed.
