Description
The City of Laconia Public Works Department, Sewer Division, is requesting proposals to remove the existing roof assembly at the Shore Drive Pump Station and install a complete commercial EPDM roofing system. The work includes removal and disposal of the existing EPDM membrane, fiberboard insulation, built-up roofing materials, and associated components; installation of new code-compliant insulation, EPDM membrane, blocking, flashings, edge metals, transitions, terminations, fasteners, adhesives, and other accessories needed for a watertight roof. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, coordination, inspections, documentation, and permitting support. The addendum also requires asbestos-containing-material testing, reporting, notifications, and regulatory compliance; if asbestos is identified, the contractor must provide recommendations and pricing for required abatement. All proposers must acknowledge Addendum No. 1 in their submission. The project remains a one-time roof replacement with an estimated work level of $25,000-$30,000.
