Description
Dane County is soliciting a lump-sum construction bid for accessibility and stormwater improvements at Babcock County Park. The work includes excavation, grading, paving, concrete sidewalks and ramps, curb and gutter, stormwater bio-infiltration and dry detention basins, drainage piping, outlet structures, erosion and sediment controls, riprap and vegetated shoreline stabilization, native restoration, and related site work. The project also includes construction of an accessible fishing pier and accessible boarding pier with foundations, steel piling, composite decking, railings, lighting, and associated electrical work. Bidders must be pre-qualified as Dane County Best Value Contractors before the bid deadline, and the solicitation requires a 5% bid guarantee. The construction documents assume a February 1, 2027 start date and require substantial completion by July 1, 2027.
