Description
Kentucky Educational Television is seeking a pool of up to four contract Production Technicians to provide studio and field television videography and audio services for educational and other television productions. Duties include operating professional studio cameras and pedestals, broadcast and cinema-style field cameras, studio audio equipment, and field audio equipment. Contractors may also be required to complete training, stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work independently or as part of a production team. The initial contract term is anticipated to run from October 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028, with up to two additional two-year renewal periods. Work is not guaranteed and may total up to 230 days per contractor during the initial term. Compensation is based on specified half-day, full-day, premium-time, and training rates for studio and field camera and audio operations. The technical proposal must include relevant television-production experience, including a resume with dated work history and responses to the stated technical requirements; no cost proposal is required.
