Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking a contractor to provide electromyography and nerve conduction velocity testing for adults in custody at FMC Lexington. Services include one-, two-, three-, and four-extremity studies, with or without spinal involvement and for suspected multi-limb polyneuropathies. The contractor must use the facility's EMG/NCV equipment and prepare detailed written results and recommendations before leaving the institution; the facility will provide expendable supplies. The provider must be a licensed physician or physical therapist with a current unrestricted Kentucky license permitting EMG and nerve conduction studies, at least three years of documented EMG/NCV experience, and supporting qualifications such as licenses, diplomas, certifications, and a resume or curriculum vitae. The contractor must respond within four hours when required, perform services during mutually scheduled weekday clinics, complete session-based invoice verification, comply with facility security and healthcare privacy requirements, and undergo applicable personnel screening and training. Award will be based on price and past performance under a firm-fixed-unit-price requirements contract with a base year and four 12-month option years.
