Description
The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board is seeking a prime consultant to provide comprehensive architectural services for a new concourse and terminal expansion at Blue Grass Airport. The anticipated project includes approximately eight new aircraft gates with potential future expansion, a terminal headhouse, passenger gate lounges, concessions, restrooms, passenger boarding bridges, apron improvements, and associated building systems. The new concourse must connect to the existing terminal while the airport remains operational. Services will extend from pre-design and conceptual design through construction administration, closeout, commissioning, and turnover. The scope includes program validation, stakeholder workshops, existing-conditions assessment, schematic and design-development documents, cost and value-engineering support, BIM coordination, CMAR constructability review, construction documents, procurement assistance, permitting coordination, addenda, conformed documents, QA/QC, operational-continuity support, ORAT support, and warranty-walk-through participation. Respondents must demonstrate airport-terminal experience, CMAR and FAA-related experience, relevant past performance, similar projects, project approach, team qualifications, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to manage phasing, regulatory compliance, schedule, cost, and airport operations. No fee proposal is requested.
