Description
The California Air Resources Board is seeking a contractor to provide as-needed office moving services at CARB facilities throughout California for a 12-month agreement, with an option for one additional 12-month period. The scope includes labor, transportation, packing materials, furniture and modular systems furniture assembly, disassembly, relocation, reconfiguration, equipment handling, custom crating for sensitive laboratory equipment, inventorying property, facility protection, and related moving equipment. The contractor must also provide storage services, including secure warehouse storage and handling, and may be required to transport records, surplus property, furniture, equipment, and office materials among CARB locations and designated state facilities. A Class A driver and semi-truck may be required for certain assignments. The anticipated agreement amount is capped at $249,999.99, and the State will pay approved rates for services actually ordered; no minimum or maximum volume is guaranteed. The opportunity is limited to California-certified small businesses and requires, among other qualifications, valid C-61 Limited Specialty and D-34 Prefabricated Equipment Contractor licenses, three qualifying references, and a business location within 50 miles of California Environmental Protection Agency Headquarters in Sacramento. Prevailing wages apply. Responses must include the completed rate sheet and required certifications, declarations, references, license information, and minimum-qualification response.
