Description
Forsyth County is soliciting proposals from multiple qualified firms to provide moving services for various County departments on an as-needed basis from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029. Services include furnishing labor, tools, packing and protective materials, equipment, and transportation; moving and setting up or tearing down furniture, modular furniture systems, equipment, appliances, boxed files, records, and supplies; and performing disassembly, dismantling, and reassembly as needed. The scope also includes election-related moving services, including transporting election equipment and supplies between the elections warehouse and polling or advance-voting locations, setting up and packing equipment, and returning items after elections. Contractors must be prepared to operate at least two large box trucks with lift gates with at least two crew members per truck, increase resources for larger elections, comply with election schedules, and attend required equipment-handling training. The technical proposal is limited to 20 pages, excluding mandatory requirements, and pricing must be submitted separately through the fee schedule.
