Description
Niagara College is seeking a supplier to provide moving services on an as-required basis at its campuses. The scope includes supplying all labor, materials, equipment, vehicles, transportation, fuel, maintenance, insurance, and moving materials such as boxes, bins, crates, carts, and protective packing materials. Services include moving furniture and equipment between classrooms, offices, meeting rooms, common areas, storage areas, campuses, and off-campus storage; setting up and taking down furniture for events; and disassembling and assembling office furniture and partitions. The supplier must provide qualified personnel, supervision, maintained equipment and vehicles, safety training, and a dedicated representative. Pricing must include hourly rates for supervisors, movers, and mover/drivers with various cube-van sizes, as well as after-hours rates and a parts-materials markup. The agreement is for one year with up to four additional one-year renewal periods, at the College's discretion.
