Description
The Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Home Personal Care (HPC) provider for a 13-year-old female with complex medical needs including Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, g-tube dependence, and seizure disorder. The provider must be Med Certified and capable of performing g-tube procedures (feeding, cleaning, administering medications), monitoring for seizures, and following seizure protocols. Duties include full assistance with self-care (toileting, bathing, hair/teeth care), preparing the individual for school, assisting with bus boarding, and helping with mobility due to fall risk and leg braces. The individual uses a wheelchair for long distances and prefers a wagon. The schedule is approximately Monday-Friday 5am-6:45am and 2:15pm-8pm, with possible Saturday mornings, totaling about 25 hours per week; exact hours will be finalized after the provider is secured.
