Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking three universal medical clips, NSN 6530-01-541-9187, unit of issue each. The item is a general-purpose gripping, holding, and supporting device used in surgical procedures and capable of being sterilized or sanitized for sterile procedures. The solicitation identifies the item as an FDA-regulated Class I medical device and requires the bidder to specify the source and part number offered. Alternate offers must include a complete data package for the approved and alternate parts because adequate evaluation data is not available to the agency. The quotation must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System. The supplies are subject to destination inspection and acceptance, commercial packaging and marking requirements, applicable medical marking requirements, domestic-material restrictions, and delivery within five days after award. The requested delivery destination is the AFMEDCOM facility at 601 Davy Crockett Road, San Antonio, Texas 78226.
