Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking one package of surgical tubing, NSN 6515-01-101-1949, for use in suction procedures. The tubing is specified as a 144-inch, nonconductive, flexible plastic surgical funnel tube, transparent, individually packaged, autoclavable, and capable of ethylene oxide sterilization without deterioration. Each package contains 20 units. Alternate configurations may include female connectors at each end and a rigid male connector. The item is an FDA-regulated Class II medical device and must meet applicable registration, listing, labeling, good manufacturing practice, shelf-life, packaging, marking, inspection, and domestic-material requirements. It must have a 60-month non-extendable shelf life, with no more than nine months elapsed from manufacture to delivery. The quotation must identify the source and part number; listed acceptable sources include Davol Inc. part number 3656, Cardinal Health 200, LLC part number 8888301531, and Medline Industries, LP part number DYND50223. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System by the stated return date.
