Description
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking competitive quotes for SAE 15W-40 lubricating oil supplied in 55-gallon steel drums. The drums must be delivered on heavy-duty pallets, with palletized shipments preferably stacked and securely banded or shrink-wrapped on four-way-entry pallets measuring 40 by 48 inches and no more than 60 inches high. Delivery is FOB destination to the department’s distribution center. The apparent low bidder must provide product samples within five business days of request for testing before award. Bidders must upload safety data sheets for the proposed product; no purchase order will be issued before the safety data sheet is received. Award will consider cost, compliance with mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, schedule, and potentially past work performance and work capacity.
